Flower arranging group had its first meeting in the village hall this evening. This is in preparation for the Flower Festival in June.

Cluster Group sevice was at Bradfield Church on Sunday. Swafield,Trunch and Gimingham congregations joined for worship.Church was freezing, organ playing was unrecognisable but the sermon from Revd. Pat Baggaley was brilliant! So good to have a full church to worship in. angel

Well, it's all over, cheerleader and what a weekend we had. I've not had a hot meal since Thursday last and have seen more of the inside of the church than I usually do in a month of Sundays.
We had a brilliant quiz in the Village Hall on Friday, hosted by the Revd. David and his trusty sidekick, Duncan. French sticks and a variety of cheese fed the hungry and a good time was had by all.
Saturday morning saw the last minute preparations before the opening at 10am and we were busy pretty all day with a constant stream of visitors. There was a good turn out for the evening concert which was enlivened by Heather's dive off the font during the interval! Happily she was patched up by the visiting paramedic and only has a scar and a few bruises to show for her bid for stardom.
Sunday was lovely. With most of the hard work over, we could drink coffee and eat cake with the many visitors whilst we listened to the cascade of cash into the collecting bottle. Songs of Praise was conducted by Revd. Rod to a large congregation and then.... it was all over and only the clearing up to do.
Many thanks thanks to all the good souls in this great village. We are so blest! angel
